KITTRELL

RESIDENCE

For this new build home in South Boulder, we collaborated with architecture firm Bldg. Collective to create a modern space for a young and growing family.  Playing off of the architecture’s clean lines, we employed a neutral palette of tactile materials to create a home that is as visually striking as it is relaxed and comfortable.

“To accentuate the indoor/outdoor nature of the home’s architecture, we wanted to keep with a neutral palette that wouldn’t compete with the everchanging, natural colors of the surrounding landscape.”

— Megan Moore, Principal

“We loved her approach of focusing first on how we wanted to feel in our new home and letting the design flow from there.”

Testimonial —

“Megan nailed it.  We loved her approach of focusing first on how we wanted to feel in our new home and letting the design flow from there.  She found pieces that were warm and inviting, yet perfectly complemented the glass and concrete design of the home.  When we were skeptical of certain selections, she helped us understand the ‘why’ behind the design, and we’re so glad she did.  I couldn’t be happier with our end result.  And she did a superb job on designing and sticking to a budget.

Megan is also a pleasure to work with.  She is funny, extremely organized, and kept us informed throughout the project.  She worked closely with our builder, our architect, and the home automation team and was diplomatic in helping us revise some early design decisions made before she came on board.  We’d love to work with Megan again!”
